Mornings are often busy and there is not always enough time to prepare a decent breakfast. On the other hand, you may not even make up your mind to eat anything satisfying in the mornings. However, we all certainly know how important a decent breakfast is for the success of an entire day. The solution to this problem is egg coffee!

Now don’t be intimidated, the end result isn’t slimy or disgusting at all, even though it might sound like it. Egg coffee is a milk-free protein bomb that combines the luscious taste of morning coffee with the egg-filling protein. The egg itself tastes little in the drink. The end result is a wonderfully creamy, even flat, specialty coffee-like drink.

Egg coffee is easy and quick to make. The heat of the coffee cooks the egg appropriately and the whipping of the blender froths it again. If you want, you can add sweetening from, for example, honey or flavor coffee with cinnamon or cardamom, for example.

Egg coffee for one

You need:

about 2.5 dl of prepared coffee
1 raw egg
1 teaspoon coconut oil
if you want honey, cinnamon or cardamom

Making egg coffee is quick and easy.

Guide:

Measure the ingredients into a blender and mix thoroughly. You can also use a bowl and a stirrer. It’s ready!

Note! Be quick so that the egg does not clump in the hot coffee. Also keep in mind that the longer you drink the drink, the more it cools down. By testing, you will find the optimal time for your blender so that the coffee stays warm but has time to foam.

Cleaning tip!

Washing the blender can sometimes be extremely frustrating. Removal of all parts, fitting in the dishwasher (oh no?), Finally hand washing and drying. Fortunately, all of this can be replaced with easy tricks.

As soon as the blender jar is empty, drain the hot tap water about halfway through and stir in the dishwashing liquid. Put the lid on and put the jug on the machine. Allow the wash water to spin for a while, removing any food residue left on the edges and the blade. Rinse the kitchen water under the tap and let the clean jug dry.
